CAS 14457-87-5 Anhydrous CeBr3 Cerium Bromide For Catalyst
Hydrobromide was dehydrated in HBr atmosphere. Introduce pure and
dry HBr gas, heat hydrated bromide, and balance with NH4Br. The
temperature rises slowly to 250 ℃, by which time most of the water
has been removed. Then slowly heat it to 600 ℃, and NH4Br has been
completely sublimated to give cerium bromide anhydrous.
【Application】
1.It is suitable for ceramics manufacturing.
2.It is resistant to many reactive molten metals such as titanium
or uranium.
3.For producing of multilayer ceramic capacitors, Cerium Bromide is also employed as a dopant to reduce the Curie temperature of the
barium titanate substrate due to its special properties.
