Erbium Oxide nano-particles on carbon nano-tubes are used in biomedical applications due to its photoluminescent properties.It an important colourant in glasses and porcelain enamel glazes. Yttrium iron garnet additive material, rose red colorant for glass. It is also used to make infrared absorbing and special luminous glass.
